{fade in to shot of the ring}
Tommy Craven has the Evil Lord
Pelius in the middle of the ring locked in a two-handed chin lock and is driving a knee into Pelius' back. Pelius
shows no sign of giving up, though the referee is vehemently trying to get him to say he wants to discontinue the
match... or at least that is what it looks like. Even so, Pelius hangs in there, though the exertion is taking
it's toll on the wrestler.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: Welcome guys, and boy has this match been one to remember!
Craven managed to hang in there during the commercial break and has mounted quite a comeback! Now Craven seems
to have had this hold locked on for years!
Lex Victor: Exactly, Mr. Parker. Craven has gone with a much more intelligent approach to this
match than he started out with and is now working on Pelius with punishing holds and is wearing him down. Definitely
a commendable effort by Craven.
Knee Johnson: Is Pelius/Lex ever gonna happen?
Lex Victor: I refuse to answer such a pitifully idiotic inquiry.
Knee Johnson: Can you say "chip on the shoulder"?
{ring}
Pelius tries to power his way
out of the hold, but to no avail as Craven excercises his leverage advantage procured by this hold and pulls back
even more on Pelius causing him to give up on his efforts as they seem unimaginably futile at this point. Pelius
looks extremely helpless but he isn't giving up. A "Pelius" chant is washing it's way over the audience
as well as if that is supposed to envigorate him.
{commentary}
Lex Victor: Now this is downright disgusting. How can these people
find it in themselves to chant the name of a self professed "Evil Lord"?
Dexter Copeland: Man... stop wit' da self righteous bull crap! I bet
you was a fan of "Pelius o' Clamorus", right?
Lex Victor: Well, that's a different story. He was actually a
respectable wrestler. You didn't see him trying to conquer the world! He wasn't that stupid.
Knee Johnson: Lex does have a point, Copes.
Dexter Copeland: It don't matter. Da point is bof o' dem is good wres'lers,
a'ight? Dat's all dat should matter.
Lex Victor: From the way you've been calling the matches tonight, I've seen you take sides as
well. Don't make a jackass of yourself with a comment like that. Who knows how many times you've already done that
tonight.
Frenchie Parker: Now you, Lex? First I have to put up with Knee harassing
poor Dexy and now you? Why, Lex?
Lex Victor: Because I pay the bills... and look at this!
{ring}
Pelius is once again trying to
power his way out of the hold but this time it looks like he is succeeding. Craven is visibly straining as he pulls
back on Pelius' jaw with all his might... but Pelius continues resisting. Suddenly, like a thunderclap, Pelius
snaps foreward causing Craven to no longer have any kind of hold on his opponent. Pelius now stands up as does
Craven who immediately takes a roundhouse swing at him, but Pelius ducks and simply delivers a clothesline sending
Craven to the canvas. The "Pelius" chant turns to cheers with the sudden change in events, but that dies
down as Craven takes Pelius back down to the canvas with a drop toe hold and furiously locks on a crossface.
{commentary}
Lex Victor: Don't count out Craven just yet! He's got fire left
in him.
Frenchie Parker: I am so surprised by the tenacity of Craven. Look
at how well he's doing against Pelius! I can't really recall when the last time Pelius has been dominated like
this.
Lex Victor: Me, I'm more surprised by the tenacity of Powder Toast
Man than I am with Craven. See, Craven can do this all night which should come as a surprise to no one. He's a
wrestler and this is his job.
Knee Johnson: [laughing]
Good one, Lex! "Hang tenaciously on to my buttocks"! [an obviously failed impersonation of Poweder Toast Man] Ha ha!
Lex Victor: Knee, if you would like to come out of the closet,
do so elsewhere. I'll have no part of it.
Knee Johnson: [no longer in good humor] You really _are_ a prude, Lex.
{ring}
Once again we see Pelius getting
up from the crossface which Craven had cinched in pretty good, but Pelius is just too powerful to be kept down
by a maneuver such as that. Craven is still holding on to Pelius even though the man is standing up to which Pelius
hits Craven in the gut with elbow shots. Craven lets go after the second one and immediately runs to the ropes...
with Pelius running to the ropes in the opposite direction. As they come off of the ropes and near the center of
the ring, both men leap into the air with cross body blocks. Pelius, outweighing Craven by thirty-five pounds is
able to take the positive side of the colision and lands on top of Craven and hooks a leg. The referee is in position
and slaps his hand down twice before Craven kicks out. Pelius looks slightly surprised as he finds himself slowly
standing to his feet and seeing that Craven found it within himself to kick out of a pin after that maneuver.
{commentary}
Dexter Copeland: Dat was some collision!
Lex Victor: You have to recognize that Craven really took a good
shot right there... but he's getting back up. Even Pelius was surprised by that one.
Knee Johnson: Lex, what do you think of Craven as a wrestler?
Lex Victor: That's hard to say, Knee. He's been in and out of
the organization for over a year. He's never been a big time player... but what I've seen of him tonight is the
first thing that's impressed me... even considering he's going against Pelius.
Frenchie Parker: Ya know the only reason you want Craven ta win is
because he's facing Pelius.
Lex Victor: Well, excuse me if I don't like Pelius as much as
everyone else does. I know him far better than any of you... so I know what there isn't to like about him.
Frenchie Parker: What did you just tell Knee a few moments ago, Lex?
Lex Victor: Ouch...
{ring}
Craven, looking quite worn out,
charges Pelius who side steps the man and gives him a faster push toward the ropes. Craven decides that he will
try to do another "off the rope" maneuver and continues toward Pelius. Unfortunately, Craven really doesn't
have much left in him and becomes the victim once again as Pelius catches him in the middle of his run, lifts him
in the air for a few seconds in a bear hug, then slams him to the canvas with a spinebuster slam. The audience
is really getting into this match now judging from the abundance of cheering eminating from the thousands in the
arena.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: Listen to this crowd go! They are backing Pelius one-hundred
percent!
Dexter Copeland: Man! Pelius owns dis foo'!
Lex Victor: I don't think so. Craven has owned Pelius for almost
this entire match. One move doesn't mean anything.
Frenchie Parker: You've been president of this federation for over
a year now and you don't think one move makes a difference?
Lex Victor: It's what you do afterwards that makes a difference...
and I just see Pelius showboating.
Knee Johnson: Lex, he's calling for his finisher!
{ring}
The crowd is on their feet as
Pelius picks up Craven off the canvas. Craven looks to be a bit dizzy and is hardly able to stand on his feet...
so it is obvious this is about the end of the line for him. Pelius takes Craven's right hand and puts it behind
the man's head. He then brings back his own right fist way back, measuring the perfect strike as the audience cheers
him on wildly. Pelius then lets loose with the blow as the audience gasps in disbelief.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: It's over! _No_!
Lex Victor: Yes!
{ring}
Just before the lethal blow connects
with the center of Craven's chest, he ducks the blow. Pelius, obviously not expecting that to happen, is taken
off guard by Craven who is able to sneak behind the massive wrestler and execute a back suplex. The cheering from
the audience dies away once again. Both wrestlers, having expended so much energy during the course of this match
do not get up.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: I thought Pelly had him!
Lex Victor: Like I said, this Craven guy is a heck of a wrestler.
Pelius is just so arrogant that he overlooks guys like this. I'm sure Pelius wasn't expecting an onslaught anywhere
near the magnitude that he's received thus far from Craven. I have to admit that if I didn't know Craven I'd be
surprised by this.
Dexter Copeland: I've had about all I can stand o' dis! Da only reason
you ain't surprised by Craven is 'cause you jus' don't want Pelius ta win! You _know_ Craven's been a lazy ass
in da ring all da times he was here befo' an' he ain't got no reputation here. If he was fightin' like this against
anyone else you know you'd admit dat you're surprised by dis guy!
Lex Victor: I'm impressed. Not surprised.
Dexter Copeland: Damn, Lex. See, dis is yo' pro'lem. You win dese little
battles in yo' own mind, but you nevah can see what reality really is!
Lex Victor: The reality is that I'm your boss and I can have you
replaced.
Dexter Copeland: Well I really don't give a damn anymo'.
Knee Johnson: Craven's getting up!
{ring}
Sure enough, Craven is getting
back up to his feet, and Pelius is still lying flat on his back, not too far from the corner of the ring, but too
far to be anywhere near the ropes. Pelius is moving just a little bit, showing that he still has something left.
Craven, possibly realizing that he has to take Pelius out completely in order to defeat him, climbs the turnbuckles
of the ring slowly... evidently setting up for a high risk maneuver.
{commentary}
Lex Victor: Here's where I say if Craven were fighting anyone
else, this would be a bad move. The problem is, you have to take risks like this against Pelius to get the job
done.
Frenchie Parker: What if Pelius stops him?
Lex Victor: That's a risk Craven has to take. See, this guy has
guts. He's not letting Pelius' reputation get to him. He's just ready to take him to the cleaners no matter what
it may cost.
Knee Johnson: You sure I can't be on your side Lex? From here it
looks like a darn good side! You're always right!
{ring}
Craven is on the top rope now
with Pelius laying before him entirely helpless. There's nowhere for Pelius to go... and there's only one place
for Craven to go... right on to victory. The audience is nearly silent at this point as they are all waiting for
the impossible to happen... but it isn't happening. Craven stands up tall on the top turnbuckle though he looks
as if he could faint at any moment... the exertion he has done to make it through the match becoming painfully
apparent. Now, with his last bit of strength, Craven leaps off the top rope as high as he can. He extends his elbow
to make his leap a flying elbow drop so that he can hopefully drive a bone into Pelius' gut to knock the wind out
of him just long enough for him to get the three count, or perhaps a perfect landing into his chest to stun him
once again just long enough for the win. Pelius is still barely moving as Craven flies through the air, true in
his course. With a thud that seems to resonate through the arena, Craven hits his target... and Pelius is now only
at God's mercy.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: Wow! What impact from Craven! He's covering Pelius!
I don't even know if Craven's conscious anymore!
Lex Victor: This is what's going to make the whole thing worth it. I wonder how much of a coward
Craven thinks Pelius is now?
{ring}
The referee's hand slaps the
canvas once. Pelius' body remains unmoving. At the second strike, Pelius is still going nowhere. The audience is
entirely silent as they watch for any sign of life from Pelius... but they get nothing. The people with front row
seats can probably see Pelius' labored breathing which does not bode well. The screen shot picks up that fact quite
apparently. The referee's hand strikes the canvas one last time...
{commentary}
Lex Victor: He got him! He got him! I knew it!
Knee Johnson: Alright Lex! He got him!
Frenchie Parker: He did? I guess Pelius kicked out too late...
Dexter Copeland: Aw man! Dat was rigged!
{ring}
Craven rolls himself off of Pelius,
who despite having the strength to kick out does not get up immediately himself. Craven lifts himself to his feet
very slowly, awaiting his arm to be raised in victory. The referee looks at Craven and tells him something... apparently
that he hasn't won the match. Craven looks shocked... realizing that after all the hard work that he still wasn't
able to get Pelius. He's saying something back to the referee... evidently that he pinned Pelius. The referee still
disagrees. The audience starts cheering now as they realize that Pelius is still in the match... and as Pelius
rises to his feet behind Craven. Pelius still looks to be quite spent, but he's ready to dish out some sort of
punishment... but Craven is still arguing with the referee... though not very violently because he doesn't have
the strength left to be very hostile.
{commentary}
Lex Victor: No! No no no no _NO_!
Frenchie Parker: Pelius can still make it! Pelius can do it!
Knee Johnson: Turn around, Craven, or you're gonna be hit from behind!
Dexter Copeland: I don't think Pelius would stoop ta doin' dat!
{ring}
Craven has finally finished his
little scuffle with the referee and turns around. To his surprise, he sees an angry, but tired Pelius standing
in front of him. Before Craven has time to escape, Pelius takes Craven's right hand and places it once again behind
his head. Then with his own right fist, he arches back, then strikes with such power that the impact of his fist
against Craven's chest is heard quite audibly. Craven goes down to the canvas with the blow, and Pelius falls down
to cover the man.
{commentary}
Lex Victor: I can't believe this! This is impossible!
Frenchie Parker: One! Two! Three! It's over!
Lex Victor: I can't stand this...
Knee Johnson: What are you doing?
{ring}
Pelius' arm is raised and the
audience cheers. Soon, we see Lex Victor climb into the ring and walk up to Pelius yelling some indiscernible words
at him. Pelius looks down at the much shorter man, staring holes through him. Lex continues his verbal tyrade as
the booing begins which is obviously aimed towards the president. Pelius now starts yelling back at his superior,
but the words are all inaudible. Craven has rolled out of the ring at this point.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: Oh man! Not again!
Knee Johnson: At least someone's standing up to him!
{cut to shot of the walkway}
Kain Piller has just entered
the arena and is standing at the entrance of the aisleway. The near eight foot man has a large smirk on his face
as this is exactly what he was waiting for.
{cut to shot of the ring}
Lex is still yelling at Pelius
at this point, but Pelius catches Piller out of the corner of his eye and leaves the president standing in the
middle of the ring. The audience cheers as Pelius charges Piller.
{cut to shot of the walkway}
As Pelius collides with Piller,
the two start brawling and Pelius is able to knock Piller back through the entrance. The cameras do not follow,
but the cheering is tremendous.

{cut to shot of the commentary
table}
The trio of commentators look
quite shocked.
{commentary}
Dexter Copeland: Damn, dat was bad ass! And dis be only da firs' hour!
Frenchie Parker: Ya know it, Dex!
Knee Johnson: Craven shoulda knocked the stuffing outta Pelius.
He had him!
Frenchie Parker: Oh, come off it Knee. It was a good match. Anyway,
we gotta go to a commercial break... but when we come back we have hour two for ya! Wait... I hear that the camera
crew is following Kain Piller afterall!
{cut to outside shot}
Kain Piller has Pelius hoisted
high into the air. Pelius is trying frantically to get Piller's massive hands off from around his neck, but Piller
is far to strong for him. Piller walks toward a double set of doors which are evidently an exit from the arena.
Piller opens one of the doors and throws Pelius into the building, then closes the door.
Piller is now walking away when
suddenly a man drops down on top of him and locks on a sleeper hold. The man only holds it on for a few seconds
until he lets go and falls to the ground. Piller, seeing the man, runs after him in a rage. The man runs away from
him laughing a maniacal laugh.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: Oh man! That's Jason Agony!
{outside}
Agony is a safe distance from
Kain Piller and is under a tree. He bends down and picks up something that can't be seen. When Piller finally closes
in, he ducks down to knock Agony do the ground, but instead Agony puts a rope around his neck and cinches it on.
Before Piller knows what's going on, he's being hoisted into the air on the end of a noose.
{commentary}
Knee Johnson: Now here's something I agree with! He's gonna hang
Piller!
{outside}
Piller is grabbing at the rope
around his neck trying to get it undone but to no avail. Agony is laughing quite hysterically now, but at this
point security starts rushing at Agony. Agony decides he has to get away while he can, so he lets go of the rope
with Piller falling to the ground, though he didn't fall very far because he wasn't hoisted very high.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: Oh my gosh! I can't believe what we've just seen!
Sorry, but this is as long as we can stay with it! We have to go! The second hour is to come!
{outside}
As Agony is running away from
the CNWF² security officials, the screen fades out.
